Gail Lindley, M.S., CCC/SLP  

Director


Gail Lindley started Pathway Speech and Language in 1999. Prior to opening Pathway, Gail worked at the Shelton School in Dallas and Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth. Gail received her B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology (Summa Cum Laude) and her M.,S. in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. Gail's areas of expertise are in helping children with auditory processing disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, and articulation disorders. Gail is currently part of the University of North Texas Autism Research and Education Initiative and is serving on the Board of Directors for Journey Pediatics. 
Gail has been married to Swift for 19 years and together they have a beautiful 6 year old daughter, Gracie.

Amber Cloy, M.S., CCC/SLP

Amber joined Pathway Speech & Language in April 2006 after following her husband, Lane's job transfer.  She received her B.S. and M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana.  Prior to joining Pathway, Amber was employed by Abilities, a pediatric private clinic where she worked in close collaboration with occupational and physical therapists.  She provided intervention services both in the clinic and private school setting and has experice with various communication disorders such as feeding and oral motor defects, autism, auditory processing disorders, written language/reading disabilities, sensory integration difficulties, fluency disorders, as well as articulation and language disorders.  Amber leads our Social Language/Skills groups for HFA and Asperger children.  In Amber's spare time she enjoys playing with her 1 and half year old daughter, Addy Leigh, cooking (Louisiana Food), entertaining, meeting new people, running and watching LSU football.  She feels BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED to be able to work in our clinic.  She feels as if Pathway Speech & Language is a wonderful working environment where new ideas are encouraged while the basic principles of our profession are respected and upheld and where her clients mean just as much to her co-workers as they do to her. 
 
Annette Faehnle, M.A., CCC/SLP
Annette joined our practice in December 2006.   She earned her B.S. and M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin with special training in Multicultural Communication Disorders. She spent two years working in the Norfolk public schools and 7 years with Rehabilitation Associates in Virginia Beach where she worked closely with the local early intervention programs as well as in the clinical setting with school-age children. Annette's experience is varied and includes providing intervention to children who have articulation disorders, language delays/disorders, apraxia, autism, aspergers, adhd, downs syndrome, stuttering, and hearing loss. She especially loves early intervention and working with parents to open up a new world of communication with their child.  Annette and her husband, David, have a delightful little girl named Sarah.  In Annette's spare time she enjoys cooking, sewing costumes for her daughter Sarah, traveling, reading and painting (pictures and walls).    When asked what she likes most about Pathway Speech & Language her response was "I love working at Pathway!!  It is a blessing to work with such dedicated professionals who are at the core some of the nicest and most giving people you will ever meet."
 
 
Ellie Halpin, Reading Tutor

Ellie is thrilled to have joined Pathway Speech and Language in May 2006 as the Office Manager.  She earned her B.S. in Administrative Management with emphasis in Marketing and Economics, from Clemson University.  After 12 years in the corporate environment Ellie left to focus more on her family.  She began working with children of all ages for the next 10 years.  Her experience has been as a preschool teacher and Youth & Family Minister for a local church.  In June 2008 Ellie trained to become a Certified Reading Teacher through the Shelton Outreach Training Center.  Her specialty is teaching reading, writing and spelling to students with learning disabilities.  She is thrilled to begin this journey of helping children with learning differences.  In Ellie's free time she enjoys exercising, reading, chaperoning her children around town, staying connected with her friends and spending time with her husband Jay.  Ellie has two children, James and Claire, and they live in the Coppell area. 

 

 

 Kris Power, M.S., CCC/SLP 


Kris started with Pathway Speech & Language in February 2008.  We are thrilled to have her on board.  Kris works on Tuesdays providing one on one therapy for all children with communication disorders.Kris achieved her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University in 2001 and M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from University of Texas at Dallas in 2003.
She has three years of experience in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District public elementary schools as well as the PPCD program for children ages 3 and 4 with language needs. Kris was also a part of the pilot program for Social Skills Academy, a social skills summer program for children. She is experienced in working with children on the autism spectrum as well as those with hearing disorders, sign language and augmentative communication.  She has two beautiful daughters, Chloe and Hudson.

"In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, Spencer, and my daughters, being involved with the area Mom's league, reading and fellowshipping at Gateway Church in Southlake. God blessed me with a double portion by allowing me to work in such a wonderful, Godly environment as well as getting to work with children."

Cherie Bennett, Social Thinking mentor, Office Manager; E.A. III

Cherie joined Pathway Speech & Language in April 2008 working with Ellie to take over the Office Manager role.  She joins us from the Carroll ISD where she worked as the  Technology teacher in one of the elementary schools.  Cherie found a great deal of pleasure from teaching over 700 students every six days and felt as if she learned as much as the students did, if not more! Cherie recently completed her training to become a Social Thinking mentor with Michelle Gracie Winner in CA.  Cherie works in tandem with Amber utilizing her teaching skills at Pathway as our Social Thinking mentor. She will help your children apply the lessons learned in therapy with FUNctional activities. In her spare time (if any!), Cherie enjoys traveling with her wonderful husband Jeff,  raising animals, gardening and working in stained glass.  She also receives great joy from bible study and fellowship with the amazing women she has known.   Cherie has two children, Chloe, 20 and Ryan, 18.  Cherie is grateful for the opportunity God has given her to serve at Pathway Speech and Language!

 

Michelle Rendleman; M.S., CCC/SLP

 

Michelle started with Pathway Speech and Language in June 2009. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.  Michelle has worked at the Shelton School in Dallas and with children in her own private practice as well as a Dallas Head Start Preschool Program.

 

She is thrilled to be working with students at the Greenhill School in Dallas.

Michelle has experience working with children with auditory processing disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders and articulation disorders.  She enjoys working with kids of all ages. 

 

Michelle and her husband Ryan have two handsome, busy boys.  Alex is nine and Jack is six.   Michelle enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

 

Michelle says that it is wonderful to be part of Pathway Speech because they make what is best for the children their priority.  It is a blessing to work with people who have integrity and who model Christ’s love for others.
